Is there any freeware software that will allow me to monitor my CPU and RAM resource usage?

I currently am using the Network Manager to observe network utilization, but am finding myself in need of knowing the current resource usage of my CPU and RAM. While staring at the task manager works, I’m curious as to whether or not there is something that will log the usage to the system resources.
