Can i continue to update my psp software without internet?


i started to download the latest software for my psp (5.02) but my battery level is low and i don’t have a charger with me… it finished downloading and it saved it to my memory stick. can i finish the download without internet?

    if it’s already finished downloading, then just go under games and press update. it should start up like a game, but the thing is, you have to have at least 75% of battery to upgrade. so charge it then upgrade. even if you plug in the charger, it wont let u upgrade unless u have over 75% of battery

    there’s 2 ways to get software updates and they both require the psp to be charged and on
    -save the update to the game section and run the update
    -insert a UMD that requires higher firmware than the psp is running

    yes you can finish the upgrade without the internet but you have to have at least 78% battery life.
