How does this resume look?

I have only had one job in the past as a cashier but, I was friends with the manager so I didn’t really need to apply I was basically given the job. Recently I have just finished school and have a little time to work but, I’m not familiar with resumes I basically searched through Google and made my resume from looking at examples how does this look-

Looks great, but here are a couple suggestions.

For your cashier job, put actual years on there (so like “Cashier, Kroger, 2002-2004″ for example).

Don’t say “quick learner, able to multi-task, superb customer service skills, highly organized and detail oriented.” Those terms, in and of themselves, just don’t mean anything. A better way to get that information across would be to give a basic description of your cashier job mentioning very specifically how it required you to multi-task, to be very organized, etc. Invariably, when you go to an interview they’ll immediately ask you “So tell me exactly how how is it that you feel you’re a quick learner,” and then you’ll have to be able to tell him or her something very specific anyway. lol

Good luck, I hope it works out.

i like the descriptive slogans like “quick learner”. but you should add a two or three word specific task. like quick learner or store return policies.

i also perfer bullet or the little black round dots instead of dashes. but, that is personal preference.

Also, set yourself with a professional email account: dizzy 8 @ or david.cho @. Professionalism
