How do I create a managed desktop without third party software?


I want to have a single desktop profile that I manage that attaches to a group of users, so that anytime the users log in they see the same desktop and it can be managed at one spot instead of at each workstation. Can this be done without third party software?

    If you have a domain/AD setup, you can create a mandatory profile and assign it to the user accounts you’re wanting to manage.

    I’ve not checked too far into this, however, MS Steady State may also be what you’re looking for. :D
