Could a soft spot in my kitchen floor mean there is something to be concerned about?


I live in an upstairs apartment and for about four years I had a leaky dishwasher that maintance finally replaced when the water started dripping downstairs. Now, there is a groove in the floor and a significant soft spot. Should I be concerned that one day I might fall through the floor or is it nothing to worry about?
